The Faded Rose Restaurant in Little Rock has almost achieved landmark status. New Orleans native, Ed David, and his family, wife Laurie and son Zac, have run the restaurant since 1982. The David family have taken their love of Cajun food and incorporated it into the delectable cuisine of the Faded Rose.
Test the local cuisine form start to finish. The appetizer offerings include Shrimp Tchoupitoulas (shrimp sautéed in butter with mushrooms, garlic, herbs, and seasonings), and Fried Green Tomatoes la Louisianne (fried green tomatoes topped with jumbo shrimp and Faded Rose’s remoulade sauce.) Other Faded Rose signature starters include Rose’s Louisiana Crab Cakes, and Rose’s Hot Red Pepper Shrimp.
There are delectable soups, salads, and bean dishes: The Blackened Chicken Salad, a Shrimp, Okra and Andouille Gumbo, and a classic New Orleans Red Beans and Rice. The Faded Rose also offers their famous house salad of mixed lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and green olives tossed in their garlic vinaigrette dressing.
Diners will delight in the selection of burgers and sandwiches, including The Faded Rose’s take on the classic hamburger and cheeseburger, both made with Creekstone Farms Premium Black Angus ground beef. The Faded Rose’s namesake sandwich offerings include Rose’s Prime Rib sandwich and Rose’s Turkey Deluxe sandwich.
The Faded Rose will wow you with their entrees: among them the Bacon Wrapped Filet, Tenderloin of Beef Ecrevisse, and Rose’s Prime Rib, which features slow roasted, well-marbled, aged beef. It is the very best local dining has to offer.
The Faded Rose has a varied and impressive wine list, so enjoy your personal favorite by the glass or by the bottle.
You don’t really think you are going to say no to dessert, do you? Peruse the delectable delights, among them a yummy cheesecake custom made for The Faded Rose by the Blue Cake Company of Little Rock.
